1/10/2024 0 Comments Burke decor order tracking![]() It took a while to get any type of answer, it was the week between Christmas and NYE.and I am stuck with a broken 150lbs concrete table that I had to move in my garage. I also filed a claim on Pilot Freight website for the poor delivery. (Not Burke’s fault but the freight company…) I immediately look for the email address/ phone number to contact customer service. 2hrs later I open the box and one corner of the table has a huge crack, going from side to side of the table. At 8am that morning, I heard loud bangs on my door, 2 guys showed up with the gigantic box, they looked like ex-con, they were rude and did not give a s**t! They roughly dropped the box in my entryway and left. Pilot will ask you to book a date and time window for the delivery, which in my case was supposed to be between 11am-3pm. So far so good…I got the delivery end of December, 1 month after I ordered it. It said on the website that the coffee table would ship within 2 weeks, it did, I got a confirmation email from Pilot Freight that it was on his way. I ordered a concrete coffee table in November 2020 because they had a decent deal going on for Black Friday. It is a real company but they seem very disorganized. If I didn't reach out, I most likely would've never been contacted that this item was discontinued.Īvoid this company at all cost!! Unless you want to waste hours calling and emailing their customer service and getting no real help from them and then wait for months to get a replacement or file a dispute with VISA to get your money back. I ordered a ton of Christmas gifts, and I feel if I wasn't an organized person who kept track of all my orders, I may have just forgotten I even ordered it. Today is February 16, and my credit card statement does not reflect any refund, and I didn't get any confirmation via email that the refund was being processed. I used the chat function on their website, and I was told that a refund was being processed. ![]() On February 1, I called, and I hung up after I was hold for an hour. I responded that I would like a refund and not an exchange.no answer. I understand this was probably beyond their control, but there was no communication to me about this. In mid-January, I reached out, and I found out from them that the item was discontinued by the manufacturer. With all the issues around shipping this Christmas across the US, I gave it awhile before contacting them. They said it had already gone into shipping status when I sent the cancellation request, but if that's the case why didn't they notify me or send me a status update? All very sketchy and at best just bad customer service. They managed to intercept shipping but want an almost $300 fee (for a $700 item), despite that it is their fault they didn't cancel the order on time. ![]() I only received notice of shipment and tracking after multiple phone calls to ask why they didn't cancel it when I requested. After not hearing back for a week, I reached back out and they said, sorry but your item just went to the warehouse for shipping so we can't cancel it. In May I tried cancelling an order set to ship in late June. They have the same products & pricing as other companies but with way worse customer service and return process. Similar issues to others who have written. ![]()
